The second eleven faced a tough task at second in the table Lewdown who had had an easy win earlier in the season at Dartington. To make matters worse they only had ten men available. However, the ten proved more than capable of the task. Lewdown scored 212 for 8 on a good batting track with a lightening fast outfield. For D&T Gareth Havard took 3 for 43, Scott Colegate 2 for 37 and Paul Raven 2 for 20. Liam Bligh, relieved of keeping duties this week chipped in with the other wicket. D&T chased the runs down for the loss of only two wickets. Mike Jarvis and Cliff Lowe put on 47 for the first wicket before Buttler bowled Lowe for 26. Scott Colegate hit 58 with 13 fours and with Jarvis added over a hundred for the second wicket before being trapped lbw by Perry. The inspirational Jarvis was in terrific form and hit 16 fours in his 90 not out. It was a family affair as Jarvis and his nephew Liam Bligh, 19 not out, saw D&T home with 11 overs to spare.,
